Who are GB Pictures GB Pictures are a non profit company, a company limited by guarantee with no shareholders, set up to encourage the collecting and enjoyment of all types of fine art.As an organisation with objectives, we had to consider how best we could go about meeting these, and we decided that rather than raising money, or looking for help from others we would instead use a co-operative team approach. This we believe will allow us to achieve more, better and help all those involved whether collector, artist or just curious. Working with a number of other organisations some non profit, some businesses and both art collectors and artists as well as a business angel network and several others, we have devised a series of projects that will unfold over time. We have gained a great deal from this diverse mix, from selecting the best images to make available through the brands that are developing, to making sure that the production was undertaken in a way that not only allows everyone to enjoy them the most, but is also both a good investment and will last a number of lifetimes. We are as you will discover, interested in fine art, and images, the sort that will both last for many years in use and be valued by future generations to come. You will I am sure be delighted to find that we have not included any disposable art or the type of art that will either fade, or depreciate quickly. We do, as you might expect have many types of image, from traditional views to interesting and thought provoking modern works. The range will grow, and new exciting brands are in development that we will be able to introduce you to over the next few years. The most visible part of our team will be the local art consultants, these are trained local people who have become involved in franchises, who co-operate as local teams, to allow others to get to enjoy some of the finest art available. You may also come across Brand co-ordinators, who support the local art consultants, each are concentrating on spreading the word about a particular brand within a region of the country. Behind the scenes are a number of others, from artists and photographers, to art search specialists, art publishers and expert framers, all concentrating on finding and adding the best art to their brand ranges. Over the next few years you will find we will also become involved in far more from organising both exhibitions and competitions for developing artists, both locally and nationally and a wider range of educational support for all involved, including those who are interested in collecting and enjoying art to the full.
